The cannelloni are original from Italy. They are a very wide rectangular pasta with a filling inside made of meat. Any kind of meat can be added and it is complemented with cheese, bechamel sauce and tomato. We have made it this way and it is exquisite.

Cannelloni recipe with Monsieur Cuisine Connect


500 gr. of minced beef and pork
375 gr. crushed tomato
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1 large onion
1 can of pâté
2 garlic
20 plates of cannelloni
Grated cheese

Instructions for use

1- To begin with, divide the onion and garlic cloves into two parts and place them inside the glass. We program for 5 seconds at speed 5.

2- Now add 3 spoonfuls of olive oil and program in stir-fry mode for 10 minutes.

3- Add the 370 grams of crushed tomato and program 10 minutes in frying mode as well.

4- Add all the remaining ingredients, the minced meat, the can of pâté, a little nutmeg, oregano and salt. We program for 15 minutes at speed 1, reverse and at 120ºC of temperature.

5- Let it cool down a bit, and place the cannelloni plates on a flat surface. Once placed, fill the plates with the minced meat paste to make the cannelloni.

6- Make the béchamel sauce.

7- Place all the cannelloni on a tray and pour the béchamel sauce and cannelloni over them. Place the tray in the oven and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.

We can use whatever mince we want. For example, beef, chicken, pork, stew, etc. The cannelloni plates, you have to put them in water a few minutes before to soften them, you have to follow the instructions on the package.

The pâté is optional but recommended, as it gives a very good touch of flavour.
