The Bechamel recipe is a white sauce where the main ingredients are milk and flour. It is a typical French sauce from the 14th century. We make it to mix with an infinite number of dishes such as lasagna, cannelloni, or dishes au gratin. With this recipe the Bechamel is not liquid and is within the easy recipes.

Bechamel sauce with Monsieur Cuisine


500 ml of milk
50 g of butter
50 g of flour
Nutmeg salt

Instructions for use

1- Introduce all the ingredients into the glass and program to cook for 12 minutes, at speed 3 and temperature 90ºC.


The recipe is very easy to prepare and fast, so we can often use it to add more flavour to our dishes. Moreover, with this recipe the sauce does not remain liquid as it does with Monsieur Cuisine’s recipe book. This leaves a thick sauce that is perfect for our dishes.

The béchamel sauce can be used to mix with an infinite number of dishes. For example with macaroni accompanied by cooked ham, with spinach and ham, broccoli with bechamel, homemade croquettes filled with bechamel, zucchini au gratin with cheese and with the typical lasagna and cannelloni dishes.

You can see that bechamel sauce can be one of the head sauces in the kitchen and is a recurrent sauce in gratin and stuffed dishes. There are many recipes with bechamel sauce and it can be combined with other flavors.
