Artichokes with ham

The recipe of artichokes with ham is one of the most typical combinations of Iberian cuisine. It can be taken for a snack, a first course, or even a unique dish. You can find this recipe in the section of easy recipes.

Artichokes with ham recipe with Monsieur Cuisine


6 artichokes
40 ml. of water
80 grams of ham cubes
2 garlic
50 ml. of olive oil
Sweet paprika

Instructions for use

  1. We introduce the ham cubes with the peeled and cut garlic in the glass. Press the turbo button 3 or 4 times to finish grinding the food.
  2. Peel the artichokes and remove the hard leaves. Cut them into 3 or 4 pieces and put them aside with water and vinegar. They will give more flavour to the artichokes.
  3. Add the artichokes, oil, paprika, water and the rest of the ingredients with the crushed ham and garlic. We program for 18 minutes at speed 1, temperature of 120ºC.


If we see that in the last step (number 3), the artichokes have not been made, we can put a few more minutes. Always depending on the taste we want to give it.
